A support program of education and advocacy for obtaining and protecting the rights and benefits of individuals with a mental health illness.

Our Mission

To work for better mental health and victory over mental illness through programs of advocacy, education and service in Westmoreland County and surrounding communities.

Our Vision

We envision a just, humane and healthy community in which all people are accorded respect, dignity and the opportunity to enhance their mental health and develop to their full potential, free from stigma and prejudice.


The Mental Health Procedures Act insures the consumer the right to be treated with respect and dignity. If you have concerns with the services you are receiving, you have the right to have an advocate of your choice assist you.
